Mr. Strain holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a licensed Professional Engineer. He has over seventeen years of engineering experience. He has specialized in the area of embedded systems design. He has significant experience in software requirements, design, implementation, integration and test. He also has experience in digital hardware design and implementation using discrete circuits and field programmable gate arrays. He has worked on secure cryptographic devices, power management systems, sensor-based remote monitoring systems and GPS-based precise timing and frequency standards.
