PDHonline Course Provider Biography
Mr. Liebler is a graduate of RPI (BEE, 1961) and SUNYAB (MSEE, 1968 and MSCE, 1984), and a registered professional engineer in three states. He has publications in the IEEE Computer Group (“Multivalued Logic”, 1968) and Structural Engineer Magazine (“Dynamic Stiffness Influence Coefficients”, 1984), as well as two patents in high power resistors.
His work experience includes seven years of teaching electronics, microprocessors, C++, Java, and math at ITT Technical Institute. His major work experience has been as engineer of record for reinforced concrete, presressed concrete, steel, timber, reinforced masonry buildings, and pedestrian, pipe, and light truck bridges. Particularly interesting was work on transmission line dead end structures and foundations, and removal of existing bearing columns and walls (after appropriate load transfer). This background of success in many varied and challenging projects is required to safely and expeditiously execute calculations of blast standoff distances and SDOF system behavior.
